Special trip with Grandpa!!

On our way to CA we stopped to see where my dad works and got to go on a little ride in his Ranger. Then on our way back through we got to spend my birthday with my dad and MaryAnn and I got a dehydrator from them and am well on my way to dehydrating everything in sight!!!

We got some carrot cake that weighed more than Ryleigh!!
All I can say is YUM YUM!!!

California Trip- Lots of family time

We stayed at my Aunt Deni's and Uncle Steve's house in Cathedral City. We had such a great time!! She took such good care of us and most of all she LOVED Ryleigh. We had a family dinner on Sunday night and she got pretty fussy but we all still really enjoyed her!!!

Meeting the Show's

On September 22nd 2009 Ryleigh and I set off for a trip to California to meet all the family. It was my first trip driving alone, or with a baby I guess. I was a little nervous because we take this back way through the desert and the roads are really crappy and you have to know right where to turn. Well on the way there I only got off course 12 miles!! I was proud.
Here are some pictures from us hanging out with the Show family on Saturday. We got to Yucca Valley at 11pm and went to Grandma Jan's house, from there we got to go eat some chilly with Greggy's fiance and her family. Greggy's fiance's sister is having a baby so Aunt Sherri was throwing a baby shower for her that day. The chilly was yummy!! From there we went to Todd and Sherri's and we got to spend some time with Greggy and Uncle Todd while Grandma and Sherri went to the shower. We had a great visit. At around 4pm we went to Grandma Jan's for dinner. Greggy had to catch a flight home so he headed out. Amber and her 2 kids joined is at Grandmas and we hung out the rest of the night. It was really fun to meet Tobias and get to know our cousins!! They are SO cute. I was a very enjoyable day with the family!!

Summer 2009 LOTS of picts

So I know I have been slacking WAY bad at my blogging. I just never have time it seems. We have had a fun busy summer. Cant believe summer is coming to an end :-( Well here are some pictures of our summer and our growing little angle. We keep falling more and more in love with her. She is getting so big and strong and cute. she smiles ALL the time now. Especially when she wakes up from a good nap or in the mornings. We are taking it all in one day at a time.

We got to spend a week in Wyoming with my grandparents and had a BLAST. Ryan got to fish LOTS and I got to relax and get taken care of by Grams.

Blessing Lunch

Life just keeps getting better...

We had our 2 month check up and shots today. Ryleigh is 24.25" and weighs 10lbs 7oz, in her height she is in the 97th% and 36th% in weight. so we have a LOOOOONG skinny girl. She is changing, just like she should, everyday. It is SO much fun to have moments like in this video. She loves to play in her bouncer and that is when she smiles and plays the most.

Last weekend we went to Sand Hollow to watch Breanna (my sis) do the Summer Games triathlon, wish I was doing it, and she kicked some serious trash!!! She took 3rd over all the girls. I am SO proud of her and hope I can beat her next year. Bryson (my bro) says he is going to do it next year and if he does it I hope to get Ryan to do it as well. So there will be 4 of us competing. We will see if it really happens but I sure hope so.

We celebrated our 2 year anniversary on June 16th. It was so nice. Ryan brought me flowers to work, my mom watched Ryleigh while we went out to dinner at Ninja. we also got a printer so I can print my coupons and my shopping lists. It was SO nice just to be out alone. Even though we still missed Ryleigh, and talked about her most of the night!!!

Our lives dont consist of much besides enjoying our Ryleigh, she is my little best friend. I love taking her every where I go. sometimes she hates it but most of the time she does SO good. I have started taking her to the gym with me and so far so good. (knock on wood) I hope that keeps up so I can keep going in the mornings.

Its PLAY time!!!

Our little Princess is starting to talk more and more all the time. Of course its never as good when you get the camera but this is from this morning play time.
I call her our Princess because she pretty much is, she tells us what to do, when to do it, and how to do it and we just, well DO IT!! We are all starting to really get to know each other and she knows how to get mom and dad to do EXACTLY what she wants. If I am feeding her and I talk to loud she will let out a yell and Ryan grabs her foot and rubs the bottom of it across his face and she kicks him and gives him a yell. Yes Ryan is already teasing her as much as he can but I dont know how much he will be able to do because she will have him figured to get him to stop. LUCKY GIRL, she will be the only one who knows how to get him to stop teasing. The rest of us will just have to endure it.

Blessing day for Ryleigh

The day has come and gone already!! Time sure fly’s. I have been dreaming about the blessing day of my baby for a LONG time!! It was all it was cracked up to be for sure!! I LOVED having another day dedicated just to my angel. We love this little girl with all of our hearts and to have her daddy give her a name and a blessing was the most amazing thing ever!! I am SO grateful to have a husband who is a worthy priesthood holder who could perform this amazing blessing. He did such a good job and somehow I was able to love him even more. Thanks babe for your testimony of the church and being who you are!! I have the best family around :-) Thanks to everyone for all of your love and support.
